I assist members of our Senior Leadership Team! Being able to be creative and think outside the box to anticipate needs, solve problems and make processes smoother – all while ensuring that everything gets done on time. Being able to strike that balance between creativity and efficiency allows me to make a real impact.

Frederick Douglass. Despite being born into slavery, he became a powerful voice for freedom and justice, showing that education and perseverance can lead to empowerment and change. His courage continues to motivate me to stand up for what's right.

What legacy or impact do you hope to leave behind, both professionally and personally?

I'd hope to leave a legacy of empowering others, fostering meaningful connections, and being someone who genuinely made people feel seen, heard, and valued. Professionally, I'd want to create something lasting—whether it's through mentorship, innovation, or impactful work that contributes to the betterment of others even after I'm gone.

This is tough but if I had to choose one it'd be Nina Simone. I'm a huge fan of her music and how she merged genres, but I'm a bigger fan of how she used her voice to advocate for Black women in the 1950s and 60s. She inspired so many to define beauty and identity for themselves, despite societal pressures and impositions. And on top of that, she knew what she deserved and never settled for less – no matter what.

Rhakim Smith - Art Director, Creative

Someone rooted in passion for strengthening the community and uplifting the people around me. I am deeply committed to making a positive impact, whether that's through sharing knowledge, resources or simply being a support system for others. I want to be known as someone who helped elevate others, who believed in their potential and worked with them to reach it.

My mom and dad. They both showed/taught me what it really is to be a good man who is God-fearing and understands responsibilities, as well as how to go about finding peace and prosperity in this life.

I would have to say I am inspired by Bill Russell. He broke barriers during his time in the 50's-60's playing in the NBA through his perseverance and relentlessness. Those two qualities are traits that I strive to implement in my journey throughout my career.

Julius Johnson - Senior Manager, Premium Client Services

Who are some of your greatest influences or role models, and how have they shaped your journey?

My mother is my greatest influence—she was always my biggest cheerleader. She taught me to believe in myself, ignore the naysayers and follow my passion.

Tonya Hill - Director, Executive Office

What legacy or impact do you hope to leave behind, both professionally and personally?

What legacy or impact do you hope to leave behind, both professionally and personally?

The legacy/impact I hope to leave behind is that you can achieve so much just by being you. I like to believe that my contribution to this organization and team has made a positive impact since I've joined. I've been willing to learn and grow in my role, taking on tasks I never thought I would. The most important thing about all of this to me is that I've made it this far by being myself every step of the way. I hope to leave an impact that shows any Black person that comes after me that they can be themselves and they are good enough to be in these spaces, to never doubt themselves and to lean back on their work ethic that got them here if they ever get doubtful. We belong in these rooms and spaces, and I hope that I can be an example of that.

Who are some of your greatest influences or role models, and how have they shaped your journey?

Dr. Derrick Gragg. Since the day I was born, my father has demonstrated what it takes to succeed in the business of athletics. From becoming the youngest athletic director in NCAA to leading his athletic programs to numerous championships, he has shown me that dedication to your journey can create a lasting impact on the lives of many.
