A local prospect with loads of potential, Kendall Fuller has been linked to the Redskins in WalterFootball.com's Charlie Campbell's most recent mock draft.
The Washington Redskins already have two former Virginia Tech defensive backs on their roster, and WalterFootball.com's Charlie Campbell believes they could add a third.

In his most recent mock draft, Campbell has the Redskins selecting Hokies cornerback Kendall Fuller with the 21st overall-pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
"Some sources have said that if Fuller had stayed healthy and played like he did in 2014, he would be the top cornerback prospect in the 2016 NFL Draft," Campbell writes. "Because of that, don't be surprised if the junior steadily rises in the lead up to the draft. Some scouts have told me they graded Fuller higher than Vernon Hargreaves or Jalen Ramsey."
Fuller was a three-year starter for Frank Beamer's team, recording 119 tackles with 35 passes defensed, eight interceptions, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
The Baltimore, Md., native started the first three games of the 2015 season, recording seven tackles with a pass defensed and a forced fumble before undergoing season-ending knee surgery in September.
During the 2014 season, Fuller was a third-team AP All-American along with a first-team All-ACC selection after recording 54 tackles with 17 passes defensed and two interceptions.
Fuller also recorded a sack in each of Virginia Tech's first two games that season while also setting a season-high for single game tackles (7) in a 24-20 victory over the University of Virginia on Nov. 28.
The six-foot, 196 pounder first came into the spotlight as a freshman in 2013 when he hauled in six interceptions along with 17 passes defensed.
He earned ACC Co-Defensive Back of the Week honors after nabbing three interceptions in a 13-10 loss to Duke on Oct. 26.
Fuller was selected to the Freshman All-American Team.
According to his NFL.com draft profile, Fuller is "supremely confident" when on the field.
"Looks to feast on unsuspecting quarterbacks. Has the feet and twitch to trigger and go when he reads the quarterback's intentions. Takes a direct path to the ball. Ball hawk in the short and intermediate passing game. Logged 34 passes defensed and eight interceptions in 2013 and 2014 combined. Savvy and trusts his instincts. Good coordination from press coverage and can track releases both inside and out. Understands the body game and gets into the chest of receivers while running downfield. Willing tackler who steps downhill and doesn't miss his mark very often," his profile states.
NFL.com's Lance Zierlein believes Fuller is a lot like his older brother, Kyle, who is currently a member of the Chicago Bears.
Kyle Fuller has appeared in 30 games over the course of his first two professional seasons, recording 98 tackles with 19 passes defensed and six interceptions.
