As the mock drafts start to get going, Bleacher Report's Matt Miller currently pegged to take UCLA defensive lineman Kenny Clark in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
With the Washington Redskins securing an NFC East title and playoff appearance following a 9-7 regular season record, they have also assured themselves a draft pick 21st or later in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
While the Redskins have more business to complete following an exciting 2015 season, the mock drafts are starting to heat up with 20 teams already turning the page to a new chapter.
In his most recent mock draft, Bleacher Report's Matt Miller has the Redskins selecting UCLA defensive tackle Kenny Clark with the 25th overall-pick.
"Kenny Clark is a monster in the middle of the line, and he's versatile enough to play nose tackle, 1-technique, 3-technique or even in a 4-technique depending on the front used," Miller writes. "Clark's push and strength make him a great fit in Washington, and his awesome football IQ will make him a [Scot] McCloughan favorite."
Clark, a 6-foot-3, 310-pound junior out of San Bernardino, Calif., has appeared in all 39 games of his three-year career at UCLA.
During the 2015 season, Clark, who was selected as a first-team All-Pac-12 member, recorded career highs in tackles (73), tackles for loss (10.5), sacks (5.5) and passes defensed (five).
In a 31-27 loss to the Washington State Cougars in November, Clark tallied three of his five sacks on the season.
Clark would also register a season-high 11 tackles in the Foster Farms Bowl against Nebraska.
As a junior in 2014, Clark recorded 58 tackles with second-team all-conference honors.
In 2013 as a freshman, Clark made 31 tackles and was awarded the Ed Kezirian "Coach K" Award for Academic and Athletic Balance.
