The Washington Redskins will soon know their schedule for the 2017 regular season after learning this week of their four-game preseason slate.
While the Redskins don't know when they'll be playing their 2017 matchups just yet, they do know already who they'll be facing:
2017 Home Games: Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, Minnesota Vikings, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants.
2017 Away Games: Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, New Orleans Saints, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants.
After moving from San Diego -- a city the team called home from 1961-2016 – the Chargers officially moved back to Los Angeles in January.
Along with switching cities, the Chargers also appointed a new head coach following Mike McCoy being relieved of his duties on Jan. 1 following an overall regular season record of 28-38 from 2013-16.
In his place, the Chargers named Anthony Lynn the 16th head coach in team history.
Under Lynn and general manager Tom Telesco, the Chargers' primary goal during the offseason was to bring back outside linebacker Melvin Ingram.
On Feb. 27, the Chargers officially placed the non-exclusive franchise tag on Ingram, guaranteeing at least another season on the roster as the two sides continue to seek common ground on a long-term deal.
In five seasons with the Chargers, the 27-year-old has appeared in 61 regular season games and recorded 203 tackles along with 24.5 sacks and 18 passes defensed.
Over the last two seasons, Ingram has registered 18.5 sacks and 11 passes defensed.
Additionally, the Chargers made a splash on the offensive side of the football by signing tackle Russell Okung.
The 2012 Pro Bowler spent the 2016 season with the Broncos after six seasons with the Seahawks.
Okung will replace 31-year-old King Dunlap, who was released in mid-March. Dunlap had started all 46 of his appearances for the Chargers over the last four years.
Along with Dunlap, the Chargers also released guard D.J. Fluker, who would later sign with the Giants.
The 2013 first-round pick started all 59 of his appearances with the Chargers.
Wide receiver Stevie Johnson and cornerback Brandon Flowers were also released.
Joining the Chargers this offseason includes running back Kenjon Barner and linebacker Korey Toomer along with the re-signings of backup quarterback Kellen Clemens, safety Jahleel Addae and long snapper Mike Windt.
