In his latest mock draft, CBSSports.com's Pete Prisco believes the Redskins will bolster their secondary with the selection of Iowa cornerback Josh Jackson with the No. 13-overall pick. The two highest selected Iowa product by the Washington Redskins in franchise history have been two-time Pro Bowler Brandon Scherff (No. 5-overall in 2015) and the NFL's career interceptions record holder, Paul Krause.

This year, the Redskins could potentially add another productive Iowa player in the first round of the NFL Draft, as CBSSports.com's Pete Prisco has Washington selecting Hawkeyes cornerback Josh Jackson with the No. 13-overall pick.
Prisco notes that Jackson is "a ball hawk," a claim that the cornerback backed up during a breakout 2017 campaign.
During his junior season, Jackson was a unanimous first team All-American selection as he recorded 48 tackles with 26 passes defensed, eight interceptions and two defensive touchdowns in just nine games.
His 26 passes defensed and eight interceptions both led the nation amongst players in the Football Bowl Series division. Additionally, his eight interceptions tied a school single-season record and he became the only player in conference history with two scoring returns (pick-sixes of 43 and 52 yards against Wisconsin) in a Big Ten game.
Along with being named the Big Ten Conference Tatum-Woodson Defensive Back of the Year, Jackson was a finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award, given annually to the top defensive back in college football.
The 6-foot-1, 192 pounder opened the season with a 41-yard interception off Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen before recording his second interception of the season two weeks later against North Texas.
While Jackson did not log an interception over Iowa's next five games, he was a difference-maker against Ohio State and Wisconsin in back-to-back weeks, combining for five interceptions.
He capped off his college career with an interception against Boston College in the Pinstripe Bowl.
During his first two seasons with the Hawkeyes, the Corinth, Texas, native appeared in 26 games, totaling 18 tackles with one pass defensed.
According to his NFL.com draft profile, Jackson allowed just a 41.3 completion rate while making a play on 25.7 percent of his targets in 2017.
