26 Top Prospects To Attend NFL Draft

2015 NFL Draft to kick off in primetime at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday night, April 30.

Twenty-six top prospects, who are expected to be selected on Thursday or Friday night, are confirmed to attend the 2015 NFL Draft at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University in Chicago, the NFL announced today.

The NFL Draft, which had been held in New York since 1965, returns to Chicago for the first time since 1964. Chicago served as the location for the NFL Draft in 1938, 1942-44, 1951, and 1962-64.

2015 NFL Draft Facts & Figures

WHAT:

80th Annual National Football League Player Selection Meeting.


WHERE:

Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University, Chicago, Illinois.


WHEN:

7:00 PM CT/8:00 PM ET, Thursday, April 30 (Round 1).


6:00 PM CT/7:00 PM ET, Friday, May 1 (Rounds 2-3).


11:00 AM CT/Noon ET, Saturday, May 2 (Rounds 4-7).



The first round will conclude on Thursday by approximately 10:30 PM CT. In 2014, the first round consumed three hours and 39 minutes. The second and third rounds will conclude on Friday by approximately 10:00 PM CT. The second and third rounds took four hours and 12 minutes in 2014. The draft will conclude by approximately 6:00 PM CT on Saturday with the final four rounds. Rounds 4 through 7 took seven hours and four minutes in 2014.


DRAFTING:

Representatives of the 32 NFL clubs by telephone communication with their general managers, coaches and scouts.


ROUNDS:

Seven Rounds – Round 1 on Thursday, April 30; Rounds 2 and 3 on Friday, May 1; and Rounds 4 through 7 on Saturday, May 2.



There will be 256 selections, including 32 compensatory choices that have been awarded to 14 teams that suffered a net loss of certain quality unrestricted free agents last year.


The following 32 compensatory choices will supplement the 224 regular choices in the seven rounds –

Round 3: New England, 33; Kansas City, 34; Cincinnati, 35. Round 4: San Francisco, 33; Denver, 34; Seattle, 35; Cincinnati, 36; Baltimore, 37. Round 5:Carolina, 33; Seattle, 34; Baltimore, 35; Kansas City, 36; Kansas City, 37; Carolina, 38; Houston, 39; Baltimore, 40. Round 6: Seattle, 33; Green Bay, 34; Houston, 35; Pittsburgh, 36; Green Bay, 37; Seattle, 38; St. Louis, 39; Houston, 40; Kansas City, 41. Round 7: Denver, 33; Denver, 34; Denver, 35; New England, 36; San Francisco, 37; Indianapolis, 38; Arizona, 39.



Cleveland (Nos. 12 and 19) and New Orleans (Nos. 13 and 31) have two selections in the first round. Buffalo and Seattle do not have first-round picks. All other teams have one first-round selection.



TIME LIMITS:

Round 1:10 minutes per selection. Round 2:Seven*minutes per selection.Rounds 3 through 6: Five minutes per selection. Round 7 and All Compensatory Picks: * Four minutes per selection.

The 2015 NFL Draft will be televised nationally by NFL Network and ESPN/ESPN 2 and can be heard nationwide on Westwood One Radio and SiriusXM NFL Radio.
