Washington's divison rivals have made moves of their own as the Redskins continue to search for veteran additions. Check out what the Cowboys, Eagles and Giants have been up to over the last few weeks.
It has now been nearly 12 full days since the NFL calendar flipped from the 2016 league year to the 2017 league year, and already there's been a flurry of roster activity for every team.

The Washington Redskins have signed five new additions while retaining quarterback Kirk Cousins (exclusive franchise tag) along with offensive linemen Ty Nsekhe and Vinston Painter, tight end Vernon Davis, defensive end Ziggy Hood and long snapper Nick Sundberg.
While the Redskins still have some time to continue bulking up during this free agency period, Redskins.com is going to do a quick trip around the NFC East to see what Washington's rivals have been up to, starting with the Dallas Cowboys:
Dallas Cowboys Departed: S Barry Church (Jaguars), S J.J. Wilcox (Buccaneers), G Ronald Leary (Broncos), DL Terrell McLain (Redskins), DL Jack Crawford (Falcons), CB Brandon Carr (Ravens), CB Morris Claiborne (Jets), RB Lance Dunbar (Rams), DE Ryan Davis (Bills)

The Cowboys entered free agency with limited cap space and have slightly suffered as a result, losing seven different defensive players that combined for 64 starts during the 2016 season.
Additionally, guard Ronald Leary – who started 12 games in 2016 – leaves one of the best offensive lines in the NFL today for the Broncos. Dallas has La'el Collins to fill the void on the offensive line, but the Cowboys still need help at cornerback.

New Additions: WR Alshon Jeffery, WR Torrey Smith, QB Nick Foles, G Chance Warmack
The Eagles No. 1 goal this offseason was to get more consistent receiving weapons for 2016 second-overall pick Carson Wentz. While the North Dakota State product was able to throw for nearly 3,800 yards with 16 touchdowns to 14 interceptions.
But the Eagles not only failed to get a 1,000-yard wide receiver for the second straight season, Jordan Mathews was the only wide receiver to collect more than 400 receiving yards.
While Mathews is still in the fold for the 2017 season, Philadelphia went out and signed Jeffery and Smith, two proven veterans.
Jeffery, a 2013 Pro Bowler, has recorded 304 receptions for 4,549 yards and 26 touchdowns in five seasons and Smith has started all 92 of his regular season appearances in the NFL.
Philadelphia's backup quarterback situation has also changed, as they've brought back Foles who was the team's primary starter during the 2013 and 2014 seasons.
Foles threw 27 touchdowns to just two interceptions in 2013, but has a 23-20 split in the three years since.

Outside of Johnathan Hankins still being on the open market, New York has been able to its top 10 defense from a season ago intact.
Pierre-Paul was signed to a long-term deal as the Giants remain optimistic in his abilities despite missing 12 games over the past two seasons due to injuries.
New York's offense also received a jolt with the addition of Marshall, a six-time Pro Bowler who recorded 1,000-yard seasons in his first years with the Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears and New York Jets.
