Adrian Peterson turned 35 years old Saturday, and in doing so, the Redskins running back made a notable contribution to help fight COVID-19.
Peterson donated $100,000 through his charity, the Adrian & Ashley Peterson Family Foundation, to aid senior citizens and students in Houston affected by the coronavirus outbreak. The running back made the announcement Saturday morning on Twitter.
Peterson's charity will donate $100,000 worth of meals to those in need.
