The Redskins have placed middle linebacker Mike Barrow on injured reserve, ending his season.
Barrow had been among the Redskins' gameday inactives all season after being diagnosed with knee tendonitis during training camp. He was replaced in the lineup by Antonio Pierce, who has started every game at middle linebacker this season.
To fill the vacant roster spot, the Redskins signed linebacker Chris Clemons to the active roster from the Cleveland Browns practice squad.
Clemons spent training camp with the Redskins before being released in September. He will wear jersey No. 57.
