The Bobby Mitchell Hall of Fame Golf Classic will celebrate 22 years of success over the July 14-15 weekend, when 50 Hall of Famers descend on Lansdowne Resort.

Hall of Fame inductees from the 2012 class will include Jack Butler, Dermontti Dawson, Chris Doleman, Cortez Kennedy and Willie Roaf, joining tournament mainstays like Darrell Green, Larry Little, Oscar Robertson and Sonny Jurgensen.

Over the 22 years that the tournament has been held, the proceeds of the tournament have raised more than $7 million for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

The mission of LLS is to find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Mitchell also announced before this year's event that this will be the final year he will be the tournament's honorary chair.

"Bobby Mitchell and his wife Gwen have dedicated themselves to planning and executing this amazing tournament weekend each year since 1990," said Gabrielle Urquhart, LLS Executive Director. "Their unsurpassed dedication to our mission, along with the commitment of co-chairs Tamara Darvish of DARCARS, and Todd Heavner of Enterprise rent-a-car, has helped to change the lives of thousands of Americans living with blood cancer."

Tournament guests will have the opportunity to meet Julianna Nicholson, a six-year-old leukemia survivor whose energy and resilience has shone throughout her diagnosis and treatment.

Julianna (pictured above) and her family will attend all weekend events, including Friday's media and sponsor luncheon, Saturday's banquet and awards dinner, and the main event - Sunday's tournament round.

The public may participate in the gallery at Sunday's Golf Classic for a $5 donation to LLS.
