  • The Washington Commanders defeated the Cleveland Browns on Sunday afternoon 34-13.
  • Washington has scored 30-plus points in three consecutive games for the eighth time in franchise history and first time since 2005.
  • Washington is 4-1 to start the season for the first time since 2008.
  • Washington is 2-0 at home to start the season for the first time since 2011.
  • Washington has recorded three rushing touchdowns in three consecutive games for the first time in franchise history.
  • Washington is the second team in NFL history to have at least three rushing touchdowns in four of their first five games of the season, joining the 1954 San Francisco 49ers.
  • Per NFL Research: Washington is the first team since 1970 to score 150-plus points in their first five games while starting a rookie QB.
  • Per Elias Sports, Washington has won two consecutive games by 20 or more points for the first time since 1997.
  • Washington has recorded seven sacks in a game for the first time since Week 2 of the 2023 season.
  • Washington's defense recorded at least seven sacks for first time since Week 2 of the 2023 season.

Offense

  • QB Jayden Daniels completed 14-of-25 passes for 238 passing yards, one touchdown, one interception and an 85.1 passer rating. He also added 82 rushing yards.
  • Daniels is the first player in NFL history to have had 1,000+ passing yards and 250+ rushing yards in their first five career games.
  • Daniels' 41-yard touchdown pass is the longest of his career.
  • Daniels recorded a 34-yard rush against Cleveland, the longest rush by a Washington quarterback since QB Taylor Heinicke had a 38-yard rush against Green Bay in Week 7 of the 2021 season.
  • RB Austin Ekeler rushed for 67 yards and caught two passes for 30 receiving yards.
  • Ekeler's 57-yard rush in the second quarter was the longest run of his career since Week 1 of the 2023 season and the longest rush by a Washington running back since Derrius Guice had a 60-yard rush against the Carolina Panthers in Week 13 of the 2019 season.
  • WR Terry McLaurin finished the game with four receptions for 112.
  • McLaurin passed WR Jerry Smith (5,496) for the seventh-most receiving yards in franchise history.
  • McLaurin recorded his longest reception (66-yards) since Week 9 of the 2020 season.
  • McLaurin has reached 400 career receptions and joins Santana Moss and Gary Clark as the only players to register 400-plus receptions in their first six seasons with Washington.
  • McLaurin has recorded 100-plus receiving yards for the 17th time in his career.
  • RB Brian Robinson Jr. rushed for 18 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
  • Robinson Jr. has recorded a rushing touchdown in three consecutive games for the first time in his career.
  • Robinson Jr. has recorded multiple rushing touchdowns in a single-game for the second time in his career.
  • WR Dyami Brown caught two passes for 57 yards and a touchdown.
  • RB Jeremy McNichols has scored in consecutive games for the first time in his career.

Defense

  • LB Frankie Luvu led the team with seven tackles and 2.5 sacks. Luvu also had three quarterback hits, two tackles for loss and a fumble recovery.
  • Luvu recorded multiple sacks in a game for the third time in his career and the first time since Week 2 of the 2023 season.
  • Luvu became the first player since Ryan Kerrigan did in 2020 to have at least 2.0 sacks and a fumble recovery.
  • LB Bobby Wagner finished with six tackles, 1.5 sacks, two quarterback hits, one tackle for loss and one forced fumble.
  • DT Jonathan Allen, DE Dorrance Armstrong and DE Dante Fowler each added a sack.

Special Teams

  • K Austin Seibert added two field goals (27 yards and 30 yards) and made four point after attempts.
