General

  • Washington defeated the Arizona Cardinals 42-14 on Sunday afternoon. 42 points are the most points scored by Washington since Week 11 of 2016.
  • Washington has scored 30-plus points in consecutive games for the first time since Week 10 and Week 11 of the 2017 season.
  • This is the first time that Washington has scored 30-plus points in consecutive games and won both games since Week 16 and Week 17 of the 2015 season.
  • The last time Washington scored at least 38 points in consecutive games was Week 11 and 12 of the 1991 season.
  • Washington is 3-1 for the first time since 2011.

Offense

  • QB Jayden Daniels completed 26-of-30 passes for 233 yards, one touchdown, one interception and a 96.3 passer rating. He also rushed for 47 yards and one rushing touchdown.
  • Daniels has completed at least 85 percent of his passes in two consecutive games. He is the first quarterback in NFL history to have two consecutive games of at least 85 percent or higher completion percentage (minimum 15 attempts in each game).
  • Daniels (four) has moved into a tie for fourth all-time in franchise history in rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in a single-season. He joins Kirk Cousins (four in 2016 and four in 2017), Joe Theismann (four in 1979) and Eddie LeBaron (four in 1955).
  • Daniels has a 82.1 completion percentage through four career games. That is the highest completion percentage of any quarterback through four games since Tom Brady had a 79.2 completion percentage through four games in 2007.
  • Daniels' 82.1 completion percentage is the highest completion percentage by any quarterback in any four-game span since 1950 (minimum 100 pass attempts).
  • Daniels' 96.3 passer rating and 82.1 completion percentage joins Dak Prescott (2016) as the only rookie quarterbacks in NFL history to reach those marks in four consecutive games.
  • RB Brian Robinson Jr. rushed for 101 yards and a rushing touchdown.
  • Robinson Jr. has recorded a rushing touchdown in back-to-back games for the first time in his career.
  • Robinson Jr. has rushed for his 10th career rushing touchdown.
  • RB Jeremy McNichols ran for 68 rushing yards and a single-game career high two rushing touchdowns.
  • McNichols 27-yard rushing touchdown is the rush of his career and first rushing touchdown since Week 13, 2020. It was his first touchdown since Week 3 of the 2021 season when he scored on a 10-yard reception.
  • WR Terry McLaurin caught seven passes for 52 yards and a receiving touchdown.
  • McLaurin (394) has passed Bobby Mitchell for the eighth-most receptions in franchise history.
  • McLaurin has recorded touchdowns in back-to-back games since 2020.
  • WR Olamide Zaccheaus caught six passes for 85 yards.

Defense

  • DT Jonathan Allen recorded his 40th career sack and has now moved into a tie with Brian Orakpo for sixth all-time in franchise history in sacks.
  • DE Dorance Armstrong recorded his first multi-sack game for the first time since Week 1 of the 2023 season.
  • Armstrong finished with five tackles, 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble.
  • LB Bobby Wagner finished with a team-leading 15 tackles. He also recorded half a sack.
  • Wagner (1,734) has passed LB Zach Thomas (1,733) for the fourth-most tackles in NFL history.
  • LB Frankie Luvu recorded seven tackles, 0.5 sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

Special Teams

  • K Austin Seibert made two field goals (45 and 38) and connected on four extra points.
