- Washington has started the season 5-2 for the first time since 2018 and is 3-0 at home for the first time since 2005.
- Washington is now 3-1 against NFC opponents, their best start against the division since 2018.
- Washington's defense held the Panthers to 10 total first downs and 180 total net yards.
- Washington won the time of possession battle 35:05 to 24:55 and averaged 6.7 yards per play.
- Washington had two interceptions in the first quarter for the first time since game since Week 10, 2021 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
- Washington rushed for 88-yards in the first quarter, the most since Week 5 of the 2019 season against the New England Patriots.
- Washington held the Panthers to zero first half points, the first time that Washington held an opponent to zero first half points since Week 11 of the 2022 season against the Houston Texans.
- Per Elias Sports, Washington's 27-point halftime lead was the largest lead at half since Dec. 18, 2005 vs. Dallas when the team held a 28-0 halftime lead.
- Per Elias Sports, the last time Washington defeated a team by 33 points was against the New Orleans Saints in 2015 (47-14).

- QB Jayden Daniels rushed for 50 yards and completed two passes.
- Daniels' 46-yard rush in the first quarter is the longest rush by a quarterback since 2012.
- QB Marcus Mariota completed 18-of-23 passes for 205 yards, two touchdowns and a 132.8 quarterback passer rating.
- RB Brian Robinson Jr. rushed 71 yards and a rushing touchdown.
- Robinson Jr. has recorded six touchdowns this season, a new single-season high.
- Robinson Jr. has scored in his last four games played for the first time in his career. He has five total touchdowns during that time.
- WR Terry McLaurin caught six passes for 98 yards.
- TE Zach Ertz recorded five receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown.
- TE Ben Sinnott caught his first career touchdown reception.
- TE Zach Ertz and TE Ben Sinnott have both recorded a touchdown reception becoming the first tight end duo to each have a touchdown reception in the same game since Week 10 of the 2013 season for Washington.
Defense
- LB Dante Fowler Jr. recorded his first career interception and returned it for a 67-yard touchdown. It is the team's first interception touchdown return since Week 18 of the 2023 season.
- Fowler Jr. became the first Washington player since Week 8 of the 1999 season with one pick six, one sack and one tackle for loss since DL Dan Wilkinson.
- Fowler Jr.'s 67-yard interception return touchdown is Washington's longest interception return touchdown since S Kam Curl did so in 2020 with a 76-yard interception touchdown return against San Francisco.
- Fowler Jr.'s interception returned for a touchdown is the longest interception TD return at home since S Ifeanyi Ohalete's 78-yard interception return in 2002.
- CB Emmanuel Forbes Jr. recorded his second-career interception and first since Week 2 of the 2023 season.
- LB Frankie Luvu recorded his fourth sack of the season and added on two tackles for loss and one quarterback hit.
- CB Noah Igbinoghene, CB Mike Sainristil and LB Bobby Wagner all had six total tackles which is the team lead.
Special Teams
- K Austin Seibert made four field goals and connected on four point after attempts.
- Seibert has recorded 16 points today which moves his season total to 76 points. Seibert surpasses Mark Moseley for the most points in franchise history by a Washington player through Week 7. Seibert was not on the roster Week 1 and is playing in only his sixth game this season.
