Commanders re-sign LB Nick Bellore, WR Noah Brown, CB Noah Igbinoghene

The Washington Commanders announced today that they have re-signed linebacker Nick Bellore, wide receiver Noah Brown and cornerback Noah Igbinoghene,. Full terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Bellore (6-1, 220), a 14-year veteran and two-time Pro Bowl special teams selection, went undrafted and signed with the New York Jets prior to the 2011 season. He's appeared in 216 regular season games and totaled 91 tackles, 1.0 sack and two forced fumbles over the course of his career.

Last season, Bellore was signed to Washington's practice squad before Week 1 of the regular season and was promoted to the active roster a week later.

Bellore spent five seasons with Seattle (2018-23) and earned Pro Bowl honors as a special teams player after the 2020 and 2023 seasons. He played in four playoff games during his time in Seattle.

Prior to his stint in Seattle, Bellore played four seasons (2011-14) with New York Jets and two seasons (2015-16) with the San Francisco 49ers. In 2016, his second year with the 49ers, he started a career-high 10 games at linebacker and registered 77 total tackles, 1.0 sack and one interception on the year.

Bellore, a native of St. Paul, Minnesota, played collegiately at Central Michigan four seasons (2007-10).

Brown (6-2, 225) is a seven-year NFL veteran who was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the seventh round (239th overall) in the 2017 NFL Draft. He has appeared in 87 games, making 34 starts and has caught 150 receptions for 2,000 yards and six touchdowns.

Last season for Washington, Brown played in 11 games with nine starts and recorded 35 receptions for 453 yards and one touchdown. Brown's one touchdown reception was a Hail Mary to defeat the Chicago Bears in Week 8.

Prior to joining the Commanders, he spent one season in Houston where he played in 10 games with seven starts and registered 33 receptions for a career-high 567 yards and two touchdowns.

Brown spent five seasons (2017-22) with the Dallas Cowboys and saw action in 66 games (18 starts) and caught 82 receptions for 980 yards and three touchdowns. In 2022, he recorded a career-high in receptions (43) and touchdown receptions (three). Brown spent the 2019 season on the PUP list.

Brown played college football at the Ohio State University for three seasons (2014-16) where he started in all 27 games he played in and had 33 receptions for 411 yards and seven touchdowns. He was a member of the 2014 Ohio State National Championship team.

A native of Flanders, New Jersey, Brown attended Pope John XXIII Regional High School.

Igbinoghene (5-11, 197) is a six-year NFL veteran who was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the first round (30th overall) in the 2020 NFL Draft. He has played in 54 games, making 15 starts and has recorded 84 total tackles, 12 passes defensed, two fumble recoveries, and an interception.

Last season, Igbinoghene appeared in 17 games, making 10 starts and totaled 55 tackles and seven passes defensed.

In 2023, Igbinoghene saw action in five games with the Dallas Cowboys where he primarily provided depth at the cornerback position and assisted in special teams where he returned a blocked field goal 58 yards for his first career touchdown in Week 1. From 2020-22, he played in a total of 16 games with Miami. He helped the Dolphins make the playoffs for the first time since 2016, finishing with three straight winning seasons for the first time since the 2001–2003 seasons.

Igbinoghene played collegiately at Auburn for three seasons (2017-19) where he played in 40 games with 22 starts and recorded 92 tackles, 19 passes defensed, an interception and a forced fumble. He additionally totaled 44 kickoff returns for 1,199 yards and two touchdowns.

A native of Trussville, Alabama, Igbinoghene attended Hewitt-Trussville High School where he was a track athlete and was named first-team all-state as a wide receiver with 18 touchdowns his senior season. His parents, Festus and Faith Igbinoghene, were both Olympic track athletes for Nigeria.
