The patients at Children's National Hospital made the good list again this year, and Santa Claus sent some special helpers to deliver the news.

Coach Lutz has been the head coach of William Byrd High School's football program for five years, where he led the Terriers to a 12-1 record in 2023 and oversaw a district championship and the first regional championship in school history.

Ahead of the Commanders' New Years Eve game, SeatGeek Legends Plaza was bustling as the 2023 Shop Black Market provided a special hub for fans to learn about and buy goods from local Black-owned businesses.

Events are focused on underserved children and families in the Washington, D.C.; Maryland; and Virginia (DMV) area and include the third annual Toy Giveaway at FedExField on December 16, the annual Marine Toys for Tots toy drive during the team's Week 13 matchup on December 3, and special events led by Washington Commanders players throughout the Holiday Season.

As someone who has firsthand experience in how life-altering gun violence can be, he wants to do whatever he can to help the problem. 

The foster families and advocates are getting pretty used to seeing the face of Washington's #17 out in the community. Giving back to kids is one of his biggest passions and linking arms with CASA D.C. has become a favorite way of getting involved in events throughout the year.
