October is LGBTQ+ history month. In looking ahead to this Sunday’s Pride game against the Cleveland Browns, here’s a look back at an LGBTQ+ story from Burgundy & Gold history. 

This group of Bill Walsh fellows have attacked the opportunity with fervor and hard work. 

Long before Quinn was an NFL head coach, he was a Division III defensive lineman playing at Salisbury University. While several aspects of Quinn's identity have changed over the years, the core parts of his personality have stayed the same.

Dan Quinn and his chief of staff Sarah Hogan, among others, believe deeply in the talent this program produces. A large part of that springs from their own commitment to making it as effective and educational as possible. The 2024 class of fellows, the first under DQ in Washington, have felt that commitment.

In this busy but uniquely special time, the impending arrival of his daughter has highlighted for the rookie the importance of being where his feet are and striving to be the best person he can be. 

In what he calls the “biggest reason” for pursuing the status, Luvu wants to sponsor his parents so they can become U.S. citizens.
