This week's FedEx Ground Moment of the Week takes a closer look at Bashaud Breeland's fumble recovery that would set up a Redskins touchdown vs. the Jets.
On the Jets' first offensive possession of the game – starting at their own 25-yard line – Redskins cornerback Bashaud Breeland was able to recover a stripped ball on the ground for his first of three takeaways on the day Sunday at MetLife Stadium. [

On a play action pass with a fake handoff to running back Chris Ivory, Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick dropped back to find Eric Decker in open space for what appeared to be a quick first down.
But after gaining possession of the ball, Decker was stripped by a combination of a Dashon Goldson strip move and a Kyshoen Jarrett tackle.
As the ball went to the ground, Breeland was quick to scoop it up.
With the protection of Jason Hatcher and Perry Riley Jr. among others arpimd jo,, the second-year Clemson product would successfully convert the turnover.
"The first fumble recovery was knocked out by one of the DBs and it came straight to me," Breeland said after the game. "I tried to scoop it, but it slipped straight through my hands. So I just fell on top of it."
Starting at the Jets' 37-yard line, the Redskins' offense would capitalize on the good field position, ending the drive with a two-yard touchdown connection between Kirk Cousins and Pierre Garçon.
