With the NFL Combine coming up, we will be taking a close look at a few position groups to keep an eye on in Indianapolis.
We're starting with the most watched position in football: the quarterback. Notable quarterback Dwayne Haskins will not be on this list, as most mock drafts have him going in the first six or so picks of the draft. Here's who the Redskins may be keeping close tabs on.

Daniel Jones, Duke
Daniel Jones quietly flew under the radar during his first two seasons at Duke. In 2018, Jones started to fly up NFL draft big boards and mock drafts and cement himself as a likely first-round pick. The 6-foot-5, 220-pounder was a starter for three years at Duke where he went 16-20 and won two bowl games. In those 36 games, Jones threw for 8,201 yards and 52 touchdowns on 59.9 completion percentage. Jones also showcased his running ability, amassing 1,323 yards and 17 touchdowns on 406 career rushes.

Drew Lock, Missouri
Drew Lock started for three and a half years with the Missouri Tigers. He won the job during the middle of his freshman season and never looked back. Lock, 6-foot-4, 225 pounds, finished his career second all-time in career passing yards and third all-time in career passing touchdowns in SEC history. Lock also broke the SEC single-season passing touchdown record, getting 44 in 2017. Over his career, Lock had 12,193 yards and 99 touchdowns on 56.9% completion.Lock showcased his running ability, getting six of his nine career rushing touchdowns in his senior season.
Kyler Murray, Oklahoma
Kyler Murray might be the most electrifying player in the NFL Draft. Despite his small frame, 5-foot-10, 194 pounds, Murray was able to light the college football world on fire and win the Heisman trophy in his lone season as a starter at Oklahoma. Murray threw for 4,361 yards and 42 touchdowns in 2018 on 69.0 completion percentage. Murray also showed his lightning speed, running the ball 140 times for 1,001 yards and 12 touchdowns. Murray led the Sooners back to the College Football Playoffs, winning the Big 12 championship along the way.

Will Grier, West Virginia
Will Grier's college career is one of the more interesting ones in recent memories. In 2015, Grier, 6-foot-3, 217 pounds, led the Florida Gators to a red-hot start as a true freshman. He was then suspended for using PEDs before transferring to West Virginia. After sitting out the 2016 season, Grier became the starter in 2017 and became one of the best in all of college football. In his two years at West Virginia, Grier threw for 7,354 yards and 71 touchdowns while completing 65.7 percent of his passes. He also ran for five touchdowns while at West Virginia.
Clayton Thorson, Northwestern
Clayton Thorson's Northwestern career is one of the more underrated in all of college football. Thorson, 6-foot-4, 225 pounds, played all four years for the Wildcats and was the full-time starter in his final three seasons. Thorson is the all-time record holder for career passing yards and touchdowns for Northwestern, while also leading them to their first ever Big 10 championship game in 2018. Thorson ended his career with 10,731 yards and 61 touchdowns on 58.4 completion percentage. He also finished with 27 career rushing touchdowns, with the majority of them coming on quarterback sneak plays.
