Redskins receiver Pierre Garçon has only lined up for eight plays as a member of the Redskins, they were memorable.

Starting Week 1 against the Saints, Garçon managed to register a 100-yard game in just 10 minutes, including a team-long 88-yard touchdown reception, the first of Robert Griffin III's career.

After suffering a foot injury on that touchdown play, Garçon sat out the rest of the game and was inactive the last two weeks. After practicing on a limited basis this week, he was listed as a gametime decision and will make the start this afternoon.

His presence is timley and necessary, as the Redskins lost safety Brandon Meriweather and Aldrick Robinson during a scary pre-game collision in the end zone. Both players are inactive.

Meriweather was nursing a sore knee through the first three games and was listed as probable going into the game.  Robinson has had a productive start to his sophomore season, especially in the absence of Garçon.

This is the fourth-conseutive game that Grossman has been listed as inactive, reflecting the coaches' confidence in Kirk Cousins as the backup quarterback.

Cornerback Cedric Griffin injured his hamstring during last Sunday's contest vs. the Bengals.  He was a limited participant in practice this week, but has been held out of today's contest, opening the door for Richard Crawford at reserve corner.

Linebacker Markus White was active in last week's game, taking repetitions with Rob Jackson and Chris Wilson at Brian Orakpo's outside linebacker spot.  He was re-signed from the Buccaneers' practice squad before last week's game.

Freshly signed running back Ryan Grant is inactive for today's game after signing with the team on Tuesday.  Evan Royster nursed a knee injury that limited him in practice this week, but will be available this afternoon behind Alfred Morris.

Rookie offensive guard Adam Gettis is inactive for the fourth game in a row.
