Attended Alma College, Marquette University, and the University of Michigan… Began his coaching career at Morningside College in 1948… First pro coaching experience was as an assistant with the Los Angeles Rams in 1957. Passed away in 1990 at the age of 72… A native of Detroit, Michigan… Developed reputation as a coach who could transform losing teams into winners. |
