Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III is active this afternoon against the Vikings, following a head injury that knocked him out of last week's contest.
Griffin III practiced fully on Friday and cleared the concussion tests according to the NFL's protocol. He is expected to start today's contest.
As a result, veteran quarterback Rex Grossman is inactive again this week, the sixth time this season. He joins rookie offensive guards Josh LeRibeus and Adam Gettis as the healthy inactives.
Top receiver Pierre Garçon is out of today's contest following a setback to his foot injury in practice on Friday. He will be replaced in the starting lineup by second receiver Leonard Hankerson, who is replaced by Joshua Morgan.
Defensive backs Cedric Griffin (hamstring) and Brandon Meriweather (knee) are out again this week. Griffin has been unable to practice following a hamstring injury two weeks ago, and Meriweather has been ruled out for several more weeks.
Defensive end Doug Worthington injured his calf in last week's contest, and is the seventh inactive for the Redskins.
