On T.J. Duckett (RB, #36):
"He is just getting started. He seems like he picks things up real quick. He was in early this morning working with E.B. (Earnest Byner, Running Backs Coach) on the mental portion of it. He took some snaps out there today. He is off to a good start."
On what he would like to see out of the first team offense:
"We need to step up and play smooth. Our pass protection has been pretty good and we would like to continue that. We would like to get some yards rushing. We are going to be up against a real stout outfit. They are probably going to play their guys a bunch. That is what they normally do. It is going to be a test for us to go to a tough place and play a real good football team. That is what you have to do up here. We have to see if we can match up with them."
On Mark Brunell (QB, #8):
"We held Mark out for precautionary reasons. He had a little soreness in his groin so we held him out of practice today."
On the New England Patriots and their success over the past few years:
"One of the hardest things you can do up here is stay at the top for a period of time. They have done a great job of doing that. They have a great owner. He is dedicated to keep them (at the top). They have a great coaching staff as well. They are very solid across the board and have a good scheme. It is hard to see them not performing well again this year."
