The Washington Redskins' top two picks in the 2016 NFL Draft have been assigned their numbers, as Josh Doctson will wear No. 18 while Su'a Cravens will wear No. 36.
Additionally, Cravens will now be listed as a safety.
Doctson wore No. 9 while at TCU, but in the NFL, wide receivers can only wear Nos. 10-19 and 80-89.
Cravens, meanwhile, asked fans yesterday on Twitter what number he should wear, with most of the responses pointing in the direction of No. 36.
The safety wore No. 21 at USC in part to honor Sean Taylor, but the number has not been worn by any Redskins player since his passing.
Taylor, however, did wear No. 36 as a rookie like Cravens will now.
"He's definitely my all-time favorite safety, and those are big shoes to fill," Cravens said on Redskins Nation Friday. "So when I come into Washington, I'm ready to play and hopefully I can be half as good as that man."
