LaRon Landry was the top vote-getter at safety among fans voting for the Pro Bowl, according to vote totals released by the NFL this week.
Unfortunately, Landry will not be headed to Hawaii.
His season came to an end on Dec. 13 when he was placed on injured reserve due to an Achilles injury.
Landry received 208,112 votes in fan voting for the Pro Bowl.
The squad selection process consists of votes from coaches, players and fans. The consensus ballots of NFL fans, players and coaches each count one-third towards determining the 43-man rosters representing the AFC and NFC.
Fan balloting concluded last Monday. The squads will be announced on Tuesday, Dec. 28 on a special NFL Total Access 2011 Pro Bowl Selection Show on NFL Network.
Landry, a fourth-year player, was enjoying his best season this year.
As a strong safety, he was playing closer to the line of scrimmage and was more involved in plays than he was a year ago at free safety.
He finished the season with 101 tackles and also had four tackles for a loss, one sack, one interception and one forced fumble.
The interception came in Week 5 and it helped set up the Redskins' game-winning field goal in a 16-13 overtime victory over the Green Bay Packers.
The 2011 Pro Bowl will be played a week before Super Bowl XLV and return to Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii. The game will be televised live on Sunday, Jan. 30 on FOX at 7 p.m. ET.
