The NFL and the Washington Redskins announced Dec. 21 that wide receiver Santana Moss and offensive lineman Chris Samuels have earned invites to the Pro Bowl.
Running back Clinton Portis and H-back Chris Cooley earned first alternate bids, while linebacker Marcus Washington and safety Sean Taylor earned second alternate nods.
Moss is second in the NFC in receiving yards and fifth in catches with 75 for 1,240 yards and six touchdowns. It is his first Pro Bowl invitation, as he was named as an alternate previously with the New York Jets.
Samuels' nod marks his third trip to the league's annual all-star game, earning invites in both 2001 and 2002.
