During the Aug. 13 episode of "Redskins Nation" -- hosted by Larry Michael, Voice of the Redskins -- a new television studio set was unveiled featuring state-of-the-art technology.
After seven years of unforgettable player interviews, memorable moments and great segments, a new television studio set on Wednesday was unveiled at Redskins Park in Ashburn, Va.
"Redskins Nation" -- a half-hour show devoted to providing fans unprecedented coverage of the team that's hosted by Larry Michael, Voice of the Washington Redskins – kicked off the non-stop coverage of the team entering the 2014 season and beyond using the new set.
Features include a television monitor wall of six, 46-inch televisions and a separate, touch-screen monitor that allows for the usage of a telestrator. In total, the old set hosted more than 2,500 episodes of "Redskins Nation".
While "Redskins Nation" will continue to air Monday through Friday at 5:30 p.m. on CSN Washington, the set will also be home to the new "Redskins Coaches Show With Jay Gruden" that will air on Saturdays at NBC4.
Joining the first-year head coach will be Michael and Chris Cooley, Redskins legend and ESPN 980 personality.
The first episode will air at 7 p.m. Aug. 23 – 30 minutes prior to the Redskins' Week 3 preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens. That game will air on NBC4 and Comcast SportsNet.
