The Washington Redskins were awarded a fourth-round compensatory pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the league announced on Tuesday.
The Redskins likely received the additional fourth-round pick to compensate for the loss of wide receiver Jamison Crowder, who signed with the New York Jets in free agency last March. In four seasons with the Redskins, Crowder made 221 receptions for 2,628 yards and 14 touchdowns.
The Redskins now have seven total selections in the 2020 NFL Draft:
- First round (No. 2 overall)
- Third round (No. 66 overall)
- Fourth Round
- Fourth Round (142nd overall)
- Fifth Round
- Seventh Round
