Part 1: It Was All A Dream

The Washington Redskins entered Week 1 as massive underdogs to the Saints in New Orleans. The Redskins served notice to the NFL that a new day had dawned in the Nation's Capital, and got the team off to a fast start behind Robert Griffin III.

Part 2: No Rookie Wall For Dynamic Duo

The Washington Redskins fielded the most successful rookie backfield in NFL history, becoming the first team to have a rookie quarterback pass for 2,000 yards (3,200) and a rookie running back rush for 1,000 yards (1,613). The longest rush of the season came vs. Minnesota in Week 6, when Robert Griffin III turned in the longest rush by a quarterback since 1996.

Part 3: Lighting The Fire

The Redskins rolled into the bye week riding a three-game losing streak and on the brink of elimination from the playoffs at 3-6. The team rallied around head coach Mike Shanahan's optimism and came out of the break with two dominant wins over the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys in a span of five days. From there, they rattled off four more wins, chasing down the division-leading New York Giants.

Part 4: Crowning The Champion

The Washington Redskins' 2013 season boiled down to one game, a winner-takes-all rumble against the archrival Dallas Cowboys in Week 17. The fate of the NFC East hung in the balance, as a late-season swoon by the New York Giants left the Redskins and Cowboys as the only two teams standing. "Our Will, Our Way" was the team's rallying cry as they ran through the tunnel at FedExField, in purusit of the team's first division title since 1999.
