For the Redskins' offense, the hits kept on coming in Nashville.
Already without starting right guard Artis Hicks, the offensive line was forced to reshuffle early in the second quarter against Tennessee when center Casey Rabach left with a knee injury.
Will Montgomery, who started at right guard for Hicks, moved to center. Kory Lichtensteiger switched from left guard to right guard. And Derrick Dockery saw his first action since Week 4 coming in at left guard.
Later in the quarter, Dockery went down with a knee injury and offensive tackle Stephon Heyer replaced him.

Oh, and at running back, Chad Simpson suffered a foot injury during pre-game warm-ups and did not play in the game.
And midway through the second quarter, Clinton Portis re-aggravated his groin injury, leaving only rookie Keiland Williams as the Redskins' primary option at running back.
It's remarkable that the Redskins stayed together and pulled out a 19-16 overtime win over the Titans at LP Field, head coach Mike Shanahan said.
"I told the team after the game, I've been in a lot of football games through the years and I have never had that many guys go down and the team stay together, keep on fighting and find a way to win," Shanahan said. "It says a lot about our football."
Defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth and backup tight end Logan Paulsen were possibilities to play offensive line if there were more injuries.
"We talked a little bit to Logan," Shanahan said. "We said, 'Hey, you're the next guy to go in' if we lose somebody."
During the game, Portis was seen on the sidelines wearing a tee-shirt and Rabach was also out of uniform in the second half and had his leg wrapped.
Even Santana Moss left the game briefly with a sore hamstring.
Shanahan said he would update the status of the Redskins' injured players on Monday.
Hicks, who had started every game this season at right guard, sat out the game with a thigh injury. He was limited in practice last week and listed as questionable heading into the game.
Montgomery made his first start of the season. It was Montgomery's first start since Nov. 8, 2009 in Atlanta. Prior to Sunday, he had played in six games this season as a reserve.
For the most part, the Redskins' revamped offensive line performed well against the Titans.
"They did a great job," Shanahan said. "I had a feeling our guys would go out there and give it everything they had. Any time you have as many guys go down in a game as we had, you are just hoping that you put enough guys out there."
On one play, Montgomery had a nice block to help free Williams on a 6-yard run.
On another play, Heyer came over to help Jammal Brown in blocking defensive end Dave Ball. Heyer pounded Ball into the ground, giving Donovan McNabb time to throw downfield.
Quarterback Donovan McNabb was sacked three times, two of which came after he inadvertently tripped over an offensive lineman's foot and fell to the ground.
In the run game, Williams turned in a solid performance in place of Portis, posting 23 carries for 68 yards. He also caught six passes for 27 yards.
