The Redskins have re-signed defensive lineman Ryan Boschetti, the team announced on Wednesday.

Boschetti, 6-4 and 305 pounds, completed his fourth season with the Redskins, but he saw action in just one game last year.

He is expected to provide depth along the defensive line.

Few players are as energetic and gung-ho at practice as Boschetti. It's a characteristic that Redskins defensive coordinator Greg Blache believes transfers to others in the locker room.

Boschetti joined the Redskins as an undrafted rookie out of UCLA in 2004. For his career, he has played in 19 games, with two starts, and logged 15 tackles (eight solo).
