After Chris Thompson gave the Redskins the lead late against the Eagles, Ryan Kerrigan forced a game-ending fumble to extend Washington's winning streak over Philadelphia.

Fourth Quarter: Redskins 27, Eagles 22The Eagles would run the first two plays of the quarter, but were unable to move the chains on 3rd-and-3 before having to punt the ball.

Washington would be pushed back to their own 16-yard line to start their initial drive of the fourth quarter after a 15-yard personal foul penalty.

The Redskins would gain four yards on their first play of the drive, but Cousins would be intercepted the next play and the Eagles would take it back for a 29-yard score. Philadelphia's two point try, however, would not be converted.

The offense would get back on the field, but the score wouldn't change as a call on the field initially for a big third down catch by Jamison Crowder was overturned.

Then on Tress Way's punt, Deshazor Everett would be called for a 15-yard penalty after laying out returner Darren Sproles. A brief exchange between the teams ensued before play resumed.

Philadelphia would get into Washington territory before hitting a 41-yard field goal.

After an incompletion on first down, Cousins would link up with Jamison Crowder for a 33-yard reception on a play that was originally ruled an incompletion before Jay Gruden successfully challenged the call. 

The Redskins would continue to get closer to scoring distance before the two-minute waning, as the Redskins converted on a huge 4th-and-1 attempt to keep the drive moving.

Then after the two-minute warning, Chris Thompson gave the Redskins the lead once again with a score off a pitch. 

Philadelphia would get the ball back, though with 1:53 left in the game. They would get deep into Redskins territory before Ryan Kerrigan strip-sacked Carson Wentz for a ball Washington would recover to end the game.

Third Quarter: Redskins 21, Eagles 13The third quarter did not get off to a good start for the Redskins, as the offense went three-and-out on their first appearance of the half (Kirk Cousins was sacked on third down), before the Eagles scored what appeared to be a punt return touchdown that would be called back after a penalty.

Washington would take advantage of the penalty, but not before Will Compton was removed from the game.

But the Redskins didn't need very many plays to get back on track, as Kirk Cousins would bomb it out to DeSean Jackson for an 80-yard touchdown with less than 10 minutes left in the quarter.

Jackson was in full sprint before catching the ball from over his shoulder. The former Eagles wide receiver would then blow past the coverage for another score against his former teammates.

Dustin Hopkins would convert the extra point attempt to give the Redskins back the lead.

Philadelphia would hold the ball for more than five minutes after the Jackson touchdown, but weren't able to get any points out of it. Washington benefitted from an offensive pass interference call at one point before Philadelphia's 50-yard field goal attempt was no good after a fumbled snap.

The Eagles' regular long snapper is currently hurt and the backup – Brent Celek – hiked it low before Josh Norman took down the holder for a turnover on downs.

The Redskins would come back and strike yet again, as Cousins would cap the drive with a 15-yard touchdown pass to Pierre Garçon. The score put Cousins at the 4,000-yard passing mark for the season, while Jackson also went over 100 yards on the day with a 21-yard reception.

Running back Robert Kelley, meanwhile, has 52 rushing yards to this point on 12 carries.

Second Quarter: Redskins 7, Eagles 13Philadelphia extended their third drive of the game into the second quarter, capping it off with a second field goal make on the afternoon. The Eagles appeared determined to go for it on 4th-and-3 from the Washington 18-yard line, but a false start call ruined those plans.

The Redskins would strike back and take the lead, though, as Washington marched 69 yards down the field on 10 plays for a touchdown from Robert Kelley.

The rookie running back sliced through the Eagles' defense to eventually push the ball over the goal line for his fifth rushing score this season. So far, Washington's offense has stayed balanced, as they have 10 rushes to nine pass attempts.

Philadelphia, however, would take back the lead after a Darren Sproles touchdown reception to cap off a 77-yard drive that lasted 10 plays. It was the Eagles' first touchdown of the afternoon.

Three different times the Eagles were able to move the chains on third down, as the Redskins continue to get off the field on the money down.

Washington would take a knee to end the half.

First Quarter: Redskins 0, Eagles 3
Philadelphia opened up scoring on their first drive of the game, as they booted through a 45-yard field goal after a 10-play drive that covered 46 yards. On the third down play prior to the field goal kick, Ryan Kerrigan came up with a big pressure on Carson Wentz to fluster the quarterback into an untimely throw.

On the drive, the Redskins used Bashaud Breeland in the nickel cornerback spot with Quinton Dunbar as one of the outside cornerbacks. This is a change from recent weeks, as Kendall Fuller has held down the nickel cornerback spot since his first NFL appearance in Week 4.

The offense started out the game with a five-yard run out of Robert Kelley before giving the rookie runner the ball again for a two-yard gain on second down. Washington, though, would fail to convert on third down and move the chains.

Philadelphia would benefit off a 44-yard pass interference call on Quinton Dunbar to get the Eagles into Redskins territory in just one play.

It looked like the Eagles were in a position to extend their lead, but on 3rd-and-goal, safety Deshazor Everett – seeing an increase in action with Will Blackmon inactive – snagged his first career interception to steal away potential points for Philadelphia.

Washington would move the chains on their first play off the turnover, a 16-yard completion to Pierre Garçon.

Then, the Redskins would get into Eagles territory after a pass interference call against DeSean Jackson to get Washington to the 38-yard line. But Washington would miss the field goal attempt, as Dustin Hopkins' kick clanked off the post.

The Eagles would get the ball back and march down the field some before the end of the quarter.
