Team Stats

• The Washington Redskins defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars, 16-13, at TIAA Bank Field on Sunday afternoon.
• The win marked the 600th regular season victory in franchise history and would make Washington the fifth franchise in NFL history to accomplish the feat, joining the Chicago Bears (757), Green Bay Packers (741), New York Giants (691) and Pittsburgh Steelers (626).
• The Redskins recorded their first win over an AFC opponent this season.
• The Redskinsrecorded a scoring drive of 16 plays for 60 yards which ended with a 33-yard field goal. The 16 plays were the most on the season for a scoring drive that resulted in three or more points.
• The Redskins improved their all-time regular season record against the Jaguars to 6-1, including a 3-1 record at Jacksonville. Washington has now won four consecutive games over the Jaguars.
• The Redskins now hold a 4-3 record on the road. It's the team's best road record through seven games since 2012.
• The Redskinsfinished with six sacks and have now recorded six or more sacks in two games this season. The last time the Redskins recorded six or more sacks in multiple games in the regular season was the 2000 campaign in which the team recorded three games with six or more sacks.

Offense:

• Quarterback Josh Johnson completed 16-of-25 pass attempts for 151 yards and one touchdown for a passer rating of 93.9. The passer rating is his highest as a starter. Johnson also rushed for a career high 49 yards on nine attempts for 5.3 per rush average.
• Johnson made his first start since Week 13 of the 2011 season as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
• Johnson recorded his first career win after holding a 0-5 record as a starter.
• Johnson has now thrown a touchdown pass in consecutive games for the first time since Week 4 and Week 5 of the 2009 season.
• Running back Adrian Peterson finished with 51 rushing yards on 19 attempts and two receptions for 20 yards.
• Peterson (15,413)recorded 71 yards from scrimmage to pass No. 18 Isaac Bruce (15,347) No. 17 Eric Dickerson (15,396) on the NFL's all-time list.
• Wide receiver Jamison Crowder led the Redskins with four receptions for 46 yards (11.5 avg.)
• Tight end Jeremy Sprinkle finished with three receptions for 19 yards and one touchdown. The touchdown was the Redskins only touchdown of the game. The touchdown was Sprinkle's second of his career.
• Running back Byron Marshall finished with one reception for a career long 17 yards.

Defense:

• Linebacker Ryan Kerrigan started his 126th consecutive regular season game, the longest active streak among active NFL linebackers. Kerrigan has not missed a start in his NFL career.
• Kerrigan recorded two sacks for 13 yards and six tackles (five solo). He now has 11.0 sacks on the season. He becomes the second Redskin in NFL history to record double digit sacks in three-consecutive seasons.
• With the performance, Kerrigan (82.5)passed Charles Mann (82.0) for No. 2 on the all-time franchise list in career sacks. He is now nine sacks shy of passing Dexter Manley on the Redskins all-time list.
• With his first sack of the game, Kerrigan tied Charles Mann (4) for the second most total seasons with double digit sacks in franchise history. Dexter Manley ranks first with five seasons.
• Kerrigan remains as one of six NFL players (and only three non-quarterbacks) to have started every game since the start of the 2011 season (Brandon Carr, Patrick Peterson, Philip Rivers, Matt Ryan and Matthew Stafford).
• Defensive lineman Jonathan Allen posted two sacks for 15 yards. It is the second time this season Allen has registered two or more sacks in a game. Allen has now registered two or more sack in multiple games in one season for the first time in his career.
• Linebacker Shaun Dion Hamilton finished with a half of sack for his first career sack. Hamilton also with four tackles (two solo).
• Linebacker Mason Foster tied a game high with seven tackles.
• Cornerback Fabian Moreau recorded his first career interception.
• Defensive lineman Daron Payne recorded his first career fumble recovery

Special Teams:

• Kicker Dustin Hopkins connected on a 36-yard field goal as time expired for second career game-winning field goal. The last time Hopkins connected on a game winner was Sept. 25, 2016 at the New York Giants.
• Hopkins connected all three field goal attempts (46, 33, 36) and has now recorded 20 games in which he has registered three or more field goals.
• Long snapper Andrew East and tight end Matt Flanagan made their NFL debuts.
• Cornerback Joshua Holsey made his 2018 season debut. The game was Holsey's first appearance Dec. 31, 2017 at the New York Giants.
