The Redskins have added to of their practice squad players to the active roster in second-year wide receiver Maurice Harris and rookie defensive lineman Brandon Banks.

The Washington Redskins announced on Saturday that that have placed defensive lineman Arthur Jones on Injured Reserve and waived guard Tyler Catalina.

In corresponding moves, rookie defensive lineman Brandon Banks and wide receiver Maurice Harris have been promoted to the active roster from the practice squad.

Jones signed with the Redskins last week but suffered a shoulder dislocation in Washington's 17-14 victory over the Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field.

In his lone outing with the Redskins, Jones appeared on 23 defensive snaps along with three plays on special teams.

He is the third defensive lineman placed on Injured Reserve along with 2017 first-round pick Jonathan Allen and Phil Taylor.

As for Banks, 23, the UNC Charlotte product has been promoted to the active roster after originally joining the Redskins' roster as a college free agent signing in May.

In Washington's four preseason games this year, the 6-foot-3, 267 pounder recorded six tackles.

During his four seasons at Charlotte, Banks tallied 132 tackles with 13 tackles for loss, eight passes defensed, 4.5 sacks and an interception in 45 games.

He earned honorable mention All-Conference USA honors during his senior season, recording a career-high 35 tackles.

Banks joins Matt Ioannidis, Terrell McClain, Stacy McGee, Ziggy Hood and Anthony Lanier II on the 53-man roster.

Ioannidis will be inactive for the Redskins' Week 10 game against the Minnesota Vikings with a hand injury.

Harris, meanwhile, is back on the active roster after appearing in 10 games as a rookie. 

The Greensboro, N.C., native recorded eight catches for 66 yards. Saturday is his 25th birthday.
