The Washington Redskins announced this morning that they have finalized the contract to re-sign free agent cornerback DeAngelo Hall. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Hall (5-10, 193) was originally selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the first round (eighth overall) of the 2004 NFL Draft.

For his career, he has appeared in 133 regular season games with 127 starts, compiling 637 tackles (506 solo), 124 passes defensed, 39 interceptions, 12 fumbles recovered, six fumbles forced and two sacks.

Hall's 39 career interceptions are sixth-most among players that were active during the 2012 season.

Since joining the Redskins in 2008, Hall has appeared in 68 regular season games with 64 starts.

In that time, he has 19 interceptions, one interception return for touchdown and one fumble return for touchdown.

In 2010, he tied an NFL single-game record with four interceptions at Chicago, and would later earn his third Pro Bowl selection and be named 2011 Pro Bowl MVP.

Hall spent four seasons in Atlanta from 2004-07 before being traded to the Oakland Raiders on March 20, 2008.

He started eight games for Oakland before his release on Nov. 5, 2008, and signing with the Redskins on Nov. 7, 2008.

Hall was released by the Redskins on March 11, 2013, but now returns to the team after having started every game of the Mike Shanahan era in Washington.

Hall, 29, played collegiately at Virginia Tech from 2001-03, recording 190 tackles, 20 passes defensed, eight interceptions, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and seven receptions for 86 yards with one touchdown in his three-year career.

Hall was born on Nov. 19, 1983. He attended Deep Creek H.S. in Chesapeake, Va., where he played with recently signed free agent linebacker Darryl Tapp.
