The Redskins completed the signing of defensive tackle Cedric Killings on Tuesday.

The 6-2, 290-pounder was signed by the Redskins as a free agent in 2004 and immediately assigned to Rhein Fire of NFL Europe. He registered 32 tackles and three sacks.

Killings was released prior to the start of the regular season and then re-signed for the last four games. He was among the team's inactives each game.

Killings began his career as a rookie with San Francisco in 2000, playing in 14 games with one start and posting 18 tackles (12 solo) and three sacks. In 2001, he joined Carolina and appeared in four games, logging two tackles. During the 2002 and 2003 seasons, he had stints with the Minnesota Vikings.

Killings prepped at Carson-Newman, where he started 54 games and earned All-America honors four times.
