The Redskins announced Wednesday they have signed linebacker Billy Strother to the active 53-man roster from the practice squad.

Strother takes the place of linebacker Khary Campbell, who was assigned to injured reserve after suffering a season-ending knee injury in Week 10 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Redskins also announced they have signed linebacker Devin Lemons to the practice squad. He will wear jersey No. 59.

Lemons, 6-2 and 232 pounds, spent time on the Redskins' active roster as well as the practice squad earlier this year before being released in September.
