On Tuesday, April 2, Redskins Salute hosted a Chalk Talk with Larry Michael and Redskins legend Gary Clark. The USO Warrior and Family Center at Bethesda played host to military members and corporate partners of the USO Metro Club presented by Lockheed Martin. Guests enjoyed dinner provided by Mission BBQ while Michael and Clark provided their insight on the Redskins off season acquisitions and what fans can expect for the upcoming season. While fielding some questions from the audience, Gary shared memories of his time in the burgundy and gold and how the game has evolved over the years.
After the Chalk Talk was complete, guests were able to tour the USO Center, which boasts the title of 2nd largest in the country. Proceeds from the USO Metro Club partnership go to the USO-Metro to assist with their center operations and programming.
