The Washington Redskins drafted Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins with the No. 15 overall pick on Thursday night, and in the third round they selected one of his favorite targets.
With the 76th-overall pick, the Redskins selected Buckeyes wide receiver Terry McLaurin. He's the third member of the Redskins' 2019 draft class, joining Haskins and Mississippi edge player Montez Sweat, whom the organization traded up for to take at No. 26.
McLaurin improved his statistics in each of his four years in Columbus, racking up 35 receptions for 701 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2018 while leading the team with 20.0 yards per reception. For his career, he made 75 receptions for 1,251 yards and 19 scores.

McLaurin will join a Redskins receiving corps that lost Jamison Crowder in free agency but returns Josh Doctson and welcomes back Paul Richardson Jr. and Trey Quinn, each of whom suffered season-ending injuries a year ago.
The Redskins have now drafted a wide receiver in six straight seasons -- a group that also includes Ryan Grant (third round, 2014), Crowder and Evan Spencer (fourth and seventh, 2015), Doctson (first, 2016), Robert Davis (sixth, 2017) and Quinn (seventh, 2018).
