The Washington Redskins today announced the signing of cornerbacks Trey Wolfe and Tajh Hasson, adding competition to the team's secondary.

Trey Wolfe -- CB -- 5-11, 193 pounds -- Fort Valley State
Wolfe entered the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks as a college free agent Aug. 5, 2014, and was waived by the Seahawks a day later before re-signing with the team Aug. 10. He was signed to the Redskins' practice squad Nov. 26, and re-signed with the team Thursday after being waived May 4.
Played collegiately at various points at Reedley College (Calif.), Midwestern State (Texas) and Fort Valley State (Ga.) from 2007-13... Played nine games as a freshman cornerback at Reedley in 2007, intercepting four passes and recording nine pass breakups... Redshirted in 2008... Earned first-team All-California Region II and All-Valley Conference honors after making eight starts at cornerback in 2009. Returned eight interceptions for 73 yards including a school-record return of 51 yards for a touchdown... Appeared in three games as a reserve defensive back and primary punt returner at Midwestern State in 2010... Played at Fort Valley State as a senior captain in 2013, earning second-team Division II All-American honors after recording eight interceptions.
Tajh Hasson -- CB -- 6-1, 195 pounds -- UNLV
Enters the NFL with the Redskins after signing with the team on Thursday. Played collegiately at UNLV from 2010-14, appearing in 51 career games for the Rebels. Recorded 159 career tackles (119 solo) with 19 passes defensed, five forced fumbles, three interceptions and a sack... Started all 13 games as a senior in 2014, contributing 47 total tackles and three pass breakups... As a junior in 2013, started all 13 games and posted a career-high 49 total tackles while leading the Mountain West Conference with four forced fumbles... Played in 13 games with eight starts as a sophomore in 2012, recording five pass breakups on the year and pulling in his first career interception vs. Washington State... Played in 12 games as a freshman in 2011, making one start at safety... Redshirted in 2010.
