The Redskins are moving quickly in signing their draft picks.
On Friday, the team announced the signing of cornerback Justin "J.T." Tryon, the club's fourth-round pick out of Arizona State. He was the 124th overall selection.
To make room for Tryon on the roster, the Redskins released safety Patrick Ghee.
Tryon, 5-9 and 190 pounds, started all 26 games during his two seasons at Arizona State. He recorded 103 tackles (80 solo), four interceptions, 23 pass deflections and one touchdown in his college career.
Last year, Tryon ranked 11th in the nation with 19 passes defended (16 deflections and three interceptions) and finished fifth on the team with 56 tackles (43 solo).
He was a third-team All-American choice and All-Pac 10 Conference second-team pick.
Tryon hails from Woodland Hills, Calif.
