The Washington Redskins announce today that they have signed a pair of undrafted free agents from the University of Maryland: offensive lineman Andrew Crummey and tight end Jason Goode. Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
Crummey (6-5, 301 pounds) was a three-year starter at right guard for the Terrapins. He earned All-ACC honors his final two seasons and second-team All-America accolades as a senior.
Crummey started 36 games during his college career. He will wear jersey No. 72 with the Redskins.
Goode (6-3, 238 pounds) was a reserve tight end for the Terrapins. He played in 38 career games, including each contest his final three seasons. He finished his career with 36 catches for 401 yards and three touchdowns.
Goode attended mini-camp with the Redskins last weekend as a tryout. He will wear jersey No. 85.
