LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. – The Washington Redskins announced today that they have signed free agent wide receiver Brian Quick and have re-signed unrestricted free agent guard Zac Kerin. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Quick (6-3, 218) is entering his seventh NFL season after originally entering the NFL as a second round pick (33rd overall) of the St. Louis Rams in the 2012 NFL Draft. He appeared in 67 career regular season games with 23 starts with the Rams from 2012-16.
From 2017-18, he appeared in 17 games with four starts with the Washington Redskins. For his career, he has appeared in 84 career regular season games with 27 starts. Quick has totaled 114 receptions and 1,593 receiving yards (14.0 avg.) with 10 touchdowns.
Quick played collegiately at Appalachian State, starting 36 of the 54 games in which he appeared for the Mountaineers. He established school career records for receptions (202), receiving yards (3,418) and receiving touchdowns (31).
Quick, 29, attended Ridge View H.S. in Columbia, S.C., where he earned all-state, all-region and all-area honors. He was born June 5, 1989.
Kerin (6-4, 305) has appeared in 16 career regular season games since entering the NFL after signing with the Minnesota Vikings as a college free agent in 2014. Last season, he appeared in two games for Washington after signing with the team in Week 15.
Kerin, 27, played collegiately at Toledo after attending Olentangy H.S. in Lewis Center, Ohio.
