Redskins Starter Changes, Bills Injury Concerns

The Redskins starting lineup tonight features some familiar faces from the end of last year, as Redskins coaches are making a number of changes to the offensive starting lineup.

None of the players on the 90-man roster are listed as inactive during the preseason, so all players are technically available tonight.

Leonard Hankerson last played in Week 10 last season against the Miami Dolphins, and will make his preseason debut starting in place Santana Moss.

Maurice Hurt closed out the season as the starting left guard, and will start in place of Kory Lichtensteiger, who is still recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery.

Rookie Adam Gettis will make his Redskins debut tonight in place of injured right guard Chris Chester.  Tyler Polumbus will start at right tackle in place of injured starter Jammal Brown.

Veteran tight end Chris Cooley is not expected to start the evening in a twin tight end set, as he is expected to start in place of fullback Darrel Young.

He will be blocking for starting running back Evan Royster, who takes the nod in place of Tim Hightower and Roy Helu Jr.

No changes to the starting defense for the Redskins.

The following Bills have not dressed for the game: CB Terrence McGee, CB Justin Rogers, C Eric Wood, RT Eric Pears, TE Mike Caussin, WR David Nelson, DT Torell Troup.

New Bills starters: Kraig Urbik will start at center, Chris Hairston will start at right tackle, Cordy Glenn at left tackle, Arthur Moats at strongside linebacker.

Former Redskins offensive lineman Chad Rinehart will start at right guard for the Bills tonight.
