Redskins rookie wide receiver Terry McLaurin was named as a nominee for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week after his performance Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
In his NFL debut, the 2019 third-rounder hauled in five catches for 125 yards, highlighted by a 69-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Case Keenum.
"He's made plays like that all camp," Keenum said of McLaurin, who started alongside wideouts Paul Richardson and Trey Quinn. "I'm looking forward to his progression."
Other Week 1 nominees include Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew, Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Marquise Brown and Detroit Lions tight end T.J. Hockenson.
Fans can vote for one of these five players on nfl.com/rookies through Friday at 3 p.m. ET. The winner will be announced Friday on "NFL Total Access" on NFL Network and on NFL.com.
After the regular season, five players will be nominated for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year honors. Fans can vote for the winner on nfl.com/rookies throughout the month of January.
