#### Revealing Moment:
Couldn't help thinking of Santana Moss's 68-yard game-winning touchdown against Jacksonville two weeks ago as the Redskins' offense walked onto the field trailing by three points with 1:06 left in the game. Could they pull it off again? On the first play Moss raced ahead on a route and put a move on the cornerback, abruptly turning up-field on a hitch-and-go. For a moment, Moss was open, and Mark Brunell saw him. Brunell tossed a high-arching pass, but Tennessee safety Lamont Thompson stepped in front of the pass for what amounted to a game-ending interception.

It's safe to say that the Redskins' offense did not get the ball in Clinton Portis's hands enough. He logged 14 carries for 58 yards, a 4.1 yards-per-carry average, but the offense got away from the run in the second half. He had two touchdowns runs, a 10-yard run behind left tackle in the first quarter and a 4-yard run behind right tackle in the fourth quarter.
Redskins Unsung Hero:
#### What Went Right
-- The Redskins' first two offensive possessions were impressive. Both were long, time-consuming drives and resulted in touchdowns. The first drive was a 10-play, 78-yarder that included a 35-yard run by Santana Moss on a reverse. The second drive was a 7-play, 70-yard drive that included a 15-yard unnecessary roughness penalty.
-- Sean Taylor had a nose for the ball, leading the defense in tackles with 10.
-- In the fourth quarter, Brandon Lloyd caught a 52-yard pass to the Redskins' 4-yard line in what appeared to be a momentum-changing play. It set up a 4-yard touchdown run by Clinton Portis.
-- The Redskins' defense notched four sacks on rookie quarterback Vince Young, with full sacks coming from Phillip Daniels, Andre Carter and Carlos Rogers. Also, Anthony Montgomery and Kedric Golston shared a sack.
What Went Wrong
#### What's Next:
First up, questions. Lots of them. It will be a week of soul-searching and possibly some changes in the lineup. The Redskins begin preparation for the Indianapolis Colts, who are undefeated at 5-0 and coming off a bye. Assistant head coach-defense Gregg Williams hasn't coaches against Peyton Manning, Marvin Harrison and the high-powered Colts offense since 2003 when he was at Buffalo. And linebacker Marcus Washington, a former Colt, gets set to play against his former team for the first time.

Lasting Impressions:
Okay, the Redskins are just two games out of first place in the NFC East with 10 games to play. Plenty of time to make a run at the postseason. Playoff teams usually make their run in November and December, but the Redskins have to put themselves in position to make that run. They take on the undefeated Colts, coming off a bye, at an inopportune time. If they pull out a win, it could save the season. Falling to 2-5 would likely put the Redskins in too deep of a hole to recover.
