The Washington Redskins announced March 23 that they have traded safety Adam Archuleta to Chicago in exchange for the Bears' 2007 sixth-round draft choice.

"We wish things could have worked out better with Adam, but we feel the trade is positive for him, the Bears and the Redskins," said Redskins Head Coach Joe Gibbs.
