The Washington Redskins announced today that they have waived safeties Jordan Bernstine and Devin Holland.
In addition, the team placed defensive end Adam Carriker, offensive lineman Maurice Hurt and cornerback Josh Wilson on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list.
Bernstine (5-11, 214) was originally drafted by the Redskins in the seventh round (217th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft.
He appeared in the team's season-opening win against the New Orleans Saints last season before being placed on the Reserve/Injured list on Sept. 10, 2012.
Holland (6-0, 205) originally signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a college free agent on July 27, 2011.
After being waived by Tampa Bay on July 26, 2012, Holland signed to a Reserve/Futures contract with the Redskins on Jan. 3, 2013.
