Redskins linebacker London Fletcher has been cleared to play in his NFL-leading 236th consecutive contest, a streak that dates back to his rookie season in 1998.
His right ankle, injured 15 days ago against the Philadelphia Eagles and re-aggravated on Thanksgiving against the Cowboys, was not enough to keep him from missing the first game of his NFL career.
He will be joined in tonight's starting lineup by left tackle Trent Williams, whose thigh was severely bruised in a collision with teammate Kory Lichtesteiger during the Week 12 game in Dallas.
Williams was also listed as questionable for tonight's contest, but will ensure the 12th-consecutive start with the same group of offensive linemen this season.
Fellow linebacker Bryan Kehl was signed by the team on Wednesday, effectively replacing Keenan Robinson, who suffered a season-ending pectoral injury against the Cowboys. Kehl was recently waived by the Kansas City Chiefs and spent 2012 training camp with the Redskins.
Kehl was the Redskins' leading tackler this preseason, and can serve on all four special teams units. He will be active for tonight's contest.
