Redskins left tackle Chris Samuels did not play in last Saturday's Pro Bowl due to what the team believes was food poisoning from a meal the previous evening.
Samuels is feeling fine now, team officials said on Monday.
On Saturday, Samuels arrived at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu feeling ill. He was evaluated by NFC athletic trainers and it was decided he was too sick to play.
Samuels watched the Pro Bowl, a 31-28 AFC win, from the sidelines.
Samuels was set to appear in his fourth career Pro Bowl. He started all 16 games for the Redskins last year and helped the Redskins to the NFL's fourth-best rushing attack.
Samuels is scheduled to undergo off-season surgery on his left knee in the coming weeks.
