The NFL and Washington Redskins announced Feb. 5 that safety Sean Taylor has been added to the NFC roster for the Pro Bowl.
Taylor started at safety in all 16 games for the Redskins in 2006 and recorded a team high 129 tackles, including 89 solo stops, as well as one interception, and three forced fumbles.
He was named a first alternate when the NFC Pro Bowl was first announced and will replace Eagles' safety Brian Dawkins on the roster.
Taylor has played in three NFL seasons after the Redskins selected him fifth overall out of Miami in the 2004 draft. This is Taylor's first Pro Bowl appearance.
